<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of supporting the setting of a molding condition of an injection molding machine by which reference information utilized by a worker at ease as a reference is displayed in a work for setting the molding condition. <P>SOLUTION: Basic data related to a molded product such as the weight of a molded product, the kind of an injecting material or the like are input to a controller 20 of the injection molding machine. The controller 20 uses input basic data to calculate reference information becoming a reference when the molding condition is adjusted by four arithmetic operations. As the reference information, the stroke of a screw 6 for injecting the molded product, the specific gravity of an injection material in a molten state in a cylinder barrel 5 are described. The reference information is displayed on a display device 21 provided in the controller 20.
