<p>This centrifugal chiller is equipped with: a turbocompressor (2) that compresses a gas-phase refrigerant; a condenser (4) that condenses the gas-phase refrigerant compressed by the turbocompressor (2) and an evaporator that evaporates a liquid-phase refrigerant obtained in the condenser (4), and cools an object to be cooled with the heat of vaporization of the refrigerant. The evaporator (1) and/or the condenser (4) are of a straight tube form having a plurality of linear tubes that form refrigerant tubing, and neighbor the turbocompressor (2).</p>
