PURPOSE: A backward flowing prevention water meter is provided to efficiently prevent a leakage by not forming a separate opening and to reduce manufacturing costs by a weight reduction. CONSTITUTION: A backward flowing prevention water meter comprises a backflow prevention valve(30). An inner diameter size of an outlet(14) of an outflow pipe(13) is formed larger than a standard size so that the backflow prevention valve is inserted. The backflow prevention valve is composed of a disk(31) and pivot axis(32). The left and right side balance of an inflow pipe and the outflow pie are maintained and the backflow prevention valve is installed to be closely adhered to a valve seed(17) while rotating the backflow prevention valve toward an inner side of the outflow pipe. A busing(20) for closing and standardizing a product standard size is installed in the outlet of the outflow pipe.
