PURPOSE: A firefighting damper system for a multistory building is provided to prevent fire smoke form spreading to all floors. CONSTITUTION: A firefighting damper system for a multistory building comprises a speed reduction motor(100), a rotating rod(115), first and second chain gears(120), first and second bearing parts(130,140), first and second rope chains(160,160-1), a screen part(200), first and second lower chain gears(210,220), a lower rotating rod(215), and a second lower bearing part(240). The speed reduction motor simultaneously opens and closes a plurality of air supply outlets. The rotating rod transfers the power of the speed reduction motor. The first and the second bearing part support the rotating rod to rotate in one side and the other side. The first and second rope chains go in gear with the first and second chain gears. A plurality of opening and closing parts is coupled with the screen part.
