<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a telephone set which is capable of preventing suffering of a crank call in midnight and a trouble caused by telephone. <P>SOLUTION: The telephone set comprises: storage means for registering telephone numbers; and control means which performs control to disable a speech when a call incomes from a telephone number which is not registered in the storage circuit. The storage means has plural telephone number groups and stores the telephone numbers each associated with one of the telephone numbers.
