<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer having a satisfactory color reproducibility of an output image because it is excellent in fixability, color developability and offset resistance. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid developer composed of at least a binder resin (A), a coloring agent (B), a polymer dispersant (C) and a carrier liquid (D). The binder resin (A) contains at least a polyester resin (a-1) and a styrene-acrylic copolymer resin (a-2) and has a softening temperature of 80 to 140°C.
