<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency separation device for a conduit pipe capable of safely separating a conduit pipe installed between a base built on the sea and the land. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency separation device for the conduit pipe has a pair of couplers 2, 2 to which the conduit pipes 10 are connected respectively and in which opening/closing valves 4 are arranged, a coupling section 3 coupling the couplers 2, 2 each other, a conduit pipe separation mechanism 5 closing the opening/closing valves 4 and releasing the coupling of the couplers 2, 2 themselves by the coupling section 3, an acceleration converter 6 attached to the conduit pipe 10 and detecting accelerations of the conduit pipe 10 in x, y, z directions, and a control section 7 controlling the conduit pipe separation mechanism 5 based on the accelerations of the conduit pipes 10 in the x, y, z directions detected by the acceleration converter 6. The control section 7 is constituted so as to operate the conduit pipe separation mechanism 5 when it is determined that the time when the average value of absolute values of the accelerations of the conduit pipe 10 in the x, y, z directions is not less than the predetermined value is not less than the predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
