<p>The present invention provides a method for producing an aryloxytitanium composition that can solve the problems of the clogging of the storage tank, the piping, the pump, and the like during storage and transfer, and the like, and a decrease in catalytic activity which occurs during long-term storage, and is extremely preferred as a catalyst for the production of a diaryl carbonate. A method for producing an aryloxytitanium composition, comprising a step (1) of adding a diaryl carbonate to an organic oxytitanium composition having an R-O-Ti linkage, wherein R represents an organic group containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and evaporating a component having a lower boiling point than that of the diaryl carbonate, together with the diaryl carbonate, so as to obtain an aryloxytitanium composition.</p> |
