<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry drying auxiliary tool that is attachable to and detachable from an existing hanger, prevents the installation condition from changing easily, and has structure in which opposing portions of a piece of clothes do not come close to each other. <P>SOLUTION: A laundry drying auxiliary tool comprises a fit-in part 1 that allows a horizontal member H of a hanger A to fit therein, an orthogonal arm 2 that is continuously formed with the fit-in part 1 and disposed in an orthogonal direction to the horizontal member H when the horizontal member H is fitted in the fit-in part 1, and laundry contacting parts 3 and 4 that are generally parallel to each other and extend from portions near both ends of the orthogonal arm 2. The orthogonal arm 2 orthogonally crosses the horizontal member H and improves air flow by restricting approximation of opposing faces of a piece of the laundry. The fit-in part 1 is fixed as fitted in the horizontal member H, is not easily subject to deformation, and allows air to flow into the inside of the laundry. The laundry contacting parts 3 and 4 are provided as extending in generally parallel from the portions near the both ends of the orthogonal arm 2 and give a substantial distance between opposing portions of a piece of the laundry to prevent the opposing faces from contacting.
