PURPOSE: An emergency light automatic control system and an emergency light automatic control method of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) are provided to automatically control an emergency light by sensing emergency situations of a vehicle and automatically lighting the emergency light. CONSTITUTION: A detection sensor(110) senses one or more vehicle information among added impacts, airbag state, break state, and change of speed. An ECU(120) checks whether an emergency situation is generated in a vehicle or not by using one or more vehicle information. The ECU automatically lights an emergency lamp of the vehicle when the emergency situation is generated. The ECU outputs an emergency light lighting signal. A communications module(130) transmits the emergency light lighting signal to a circumjacent vehicle with V2V(Vehicular Communication Systems) communications or V2 I(Vehicle to Infrastructure) communications.
