<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digestive gas deoxidation method and apparatus to purify digestive gas and remove residual oxygen in the purified gas without necessitating high temperature and giving purified gas free from sulfur-based impurities such as H<SB>2</SB>S. <P>SOLUTION: The deoxidation apparatus is provided with an absorption tower 3 to separate carbon dioxide and sulfur-based impurities such as H<SB>2</SB>S from the digestive gas to purify methane gas, a water electrolyzing apparatus 6 to add hydrogen to the purified methane gas (hereinafter called as purified gas), and a catalyst tower 8 receiving the hydrogen-added purified gas and filled with a Pd catalyst 7 for converting the residual oxygen in the hydrogen-added purified gas to water and removing the oxygen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
