PURPOSE: A packet processing device of a textile printer and a method thereof are provided to reduce load of a CPU by classifying printing data into printing image data and printer driver data, transmitting the printing image data to a printer head, and transmitting the printer driver data to the CPU. CONSTITUTION: A data classifier(210) receives packetized printing data from a host terminal and classifies the packetized printing data into printing image data and printer driver data. A data determiner(220) forwards the printing image data to a printer head of a textile printer. The data determiner forwards the printer driver data to a CPU of the textile printer.
