PURPOSE: A seismic isolation device having an initial position securing function is provided to reduce the maintenance costs and secure the accuracy of the device by detecting the initial position of the seismic isolation device. CONSTITUTION: A seismic isolation device(1) having an initial position securing function comprises an upper guide rail(30), a lower guide rail(40), a vibration isolation member(50), a position sensor(60), and an indicator(70). The upper guide rail is mounted on the lower surface of the moving plate(10). The lower guide rail is mounted on the top surface of a fixed plate(20). The vibration isolation member is fit to the upper guide rail and the lower guide rail. The vibration isolation member is coupled with a cross bar(52) and a longitudinal bar(54) reciprocated respectively. The position sensor detects the initial position of the seismic isolation device by being mounted in one or more of the moving plate or the fixed plate. The indicator displays the position state of the seismic isolation device by receiving the signals of the position sensor.
