PURPOSE: A filtering apparatus and a hollow fiber membrane module for the same are provided to improve draining efficiency by naturally discharging sludge generated in a tank based on the gravity. CONSTITUTION: A filtering apparatus includes a tank(100) and a hollow fiber membrane module. Feed water is introduced into the tank. A first stepped side(111) and a second stepped side(112) are arranged in the tank. The hollow fiber membrane module is submerged in the feed water. The hollow fiber membrane module includes a first header(210), a second header, and a hollow fiber membrane between the headers. End parts of the first header are supported by the stepped sides. The length of the first header is longer than the length of the second header. |
