PURPOSE: A method for identifying a material containing nucleic acids is provided to ensure high label sensitivity and to manage by product groups. CONSTITUTION: A method for identifying a material containing nucleic acids comprises: a step of preparing a material containing nucleic acids having a base sequence which complementarily binds to base sequences of a RNA-dual probe; a step of reacting the nucleic acids with a buffer solution containing a reporter and quenching agent-conjugated RNA-dual probe and RNase; and a step of detecting fluorescence generated from the reporter. The nucleic acid is DNA, RNA, or DNA-RNA hybrid. The material is a liquid phase. The RNase is RNase H. The reporter is TAMRA(carboxy-tetramethyl-hod-amine), FAM(6-carboxyfluorescein), Cy3, Cy5, or Cy5.5.
