摘要

PURPOSE: A display device is provided to increase optical efficiency of a light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: Light of a light source is incident on a light guide plate(200). A light converting member(400) is interposed between the light source and the light guide plate. A display panel is arranged on the light guide plate. The light guide plate comprises a central area and an edge area. The edge area is located around the central area. The light guide plate includes a total reflection surface which is inclined against an optical axis of the light source. The total reflection area is arranged on the edge area.
