<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery device which allows the avoidance of heat generation, the reduction in energy loss, and the shortening of time required for precharge. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery device comprises: a secondary battery module MDL; a contactor 60 for switching connection between a terminal of the secondary battery module MDL and an input/output terminal TP; and a first switch Tr1 for switching the flow of charging current and a second switch Tr2 for switching the flow of discharge current which are connected in parallel with the contactor 60, and connected in series between the input/output terminal TP and the terminal. The first and second switches Tr1 and Tr2 are controlled in operation based on a potential difference between the voltage of the input/output terminal TP and the voltage of the terminal, the polarity of the potential difference, and a value of difference between a value of current flowing through the secondary battery module MDL and a current command value so that the average value of the charging current or discharge current becomes equal to the current command value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
