<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-card system, a message table update method, and a program which can improve operational efficiency of a device. <P>SOLUTION: A card 1 comprises: a message table 15; a transmission/reception unit 14 for transmitting/receiving messages to/from cards 2 and 3 via a bus 4; and a control unit 13 for updating the message table 15 based on input update data and also transmitting update messages including update contents to the cards 2 and 3 via the transmission/reception unit 14.
