<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a rice milling machine by reducing the cost of the components thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The rice milling machine is configured in such a way that a hopper 2 is disposed on an upper part in a housing, unpolished rice is supplied from an opening 5 into the hopper 2 and is polished and is released downward, wherein the upper cover 17 disposed on the opening 5 is served as the rice reception container also as an unpolished rice supplying container. The upper cover 17 comprises a ceiling wall 18 housed into the opening 5 and a cylindrical wall 19 formed under the ceiling wall 18, and the ceiling wall 18 has a flange part extended to the surrounding of the cylindrical wall 19.
