摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit a load from a front side frame to a side sill while minimizing increase of weight. <P>SOLUTION: Since an outrigger 20 for connecting a front side frame 11 to the front end of a side sill 15 includes first and second hollow frames 18, 19, the first and second hollow frames 18, 19 can transmit a collision load to the side sill 15 with axial force, and load transmission efficiency can be improved while reducing weight. When the front side frame 11 is bent upward at a curved part (a) of a boundary between an inclination part 11c inclined to a rear lower side and a second horizontal part 11b by a collision load, the first hollow frame 18 is connected to the inclination part 11c in front of the curved part (a), and the second hollow frame 19 is connected to the second horizontal part 11b behind the curved part (a), the relative positions of the first and second frames 18, 19 are changed with the bend of the front side frame 11 at the curved part (a), and thereby collision energy can be absorbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
