<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a convergence speed of a distortion compensation coefficient. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device has an LUT for associating and storing a power value of a transmission signal and a distortion compensation coefficient used for distortion compensation processing. Also, the transmission device measures a power of the transmission signal before the distortion compensation processing, and adjusts a gain of the transmission signal before distortion compensation processing corresponding to an amplification of the transmission signal at a certain timing, when the power varies from the certain timing, on the basis of an average of measured power. Also, the transmission device acquires a distortion compensation coefficient corresponding to the power value of the adjusted transmission signal from the LUT, and executes the distortion compensation processing to the transmission signal using the acquired distortion compensation coefficient. Also, the transmission device calculates an update value of the distortion compensation coefficient of the LUT corresponding to the acquired distortion compensation coefficient from an error between the power of the transmission signal amplified by an amplifier and the power of the transmission signal before distortion compensation processing, and updates the LUT with the calculated update value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
