<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a display device capable of reducing mixture of impurity generated from seal material with liquid crystal, and capable of suppressing a problem of defective display, even when using a liquid crystal dropping method. <P>SOLUTION: Seal material is formed on a first substrate formed with an element formation layer so as to surround the element formation layer, gas is sprayed to an area surrounded by the seal material, at least a surface of the seal material is dried, liquid crystal is dropped to the area surrounded by the seal material, and then a second substrate is stuck to the first substrate. Gas spraying may be performed before formation of the seal material, also temporary hardening of the seal material can be performed by applying ultraviolet irradiation or heating processing in parallel with the gas spraying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
