<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that, when drawing an image using a ray tracing method, reduces processing time to provide more photorealistic drawing result. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device determines which of light, spectroscopy, and a channel is used as a tracing target of a ray tracing method based on deflection characteristics and/or reflection characteristics of an object (S701-S703), and traces at least one factor of the determined tracing target from a view point to a light source in a virtual three-dimensional space so as to determine pixel value of image data that indicates the object (S704). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
