The device has a handle (1) comprising a mounting retainer (12) with an axial handle interlock with a tooth element at an inner circumference of the retainer. A hollow cylindrical bushing (2) includes an outer axial interlock (21) complementary to the handle interlock at an outer circumference, and an inner axial interlock complementary to a valve interlock (31) with another tooth element at the inner circumference, where the tooth elements vary from each other. The handle interlock is engaged with the outer axial interlock, and the valve interlock is engaged with the inner axial interlock. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an actuating device.
