The purpose of the present invention is to accurately calculate a beam radiation position, and to perform highly accurate beam radiation, even in the cases where the position of a scanning electromagnet and the position of a position monitor relatively change. This particle beam radiation device is provided with: a position monitor (9), which detects a passing position of a charged particle beam (2); and a radiation control device (23), which calculates a distance (D) from a predetermined reference point to the position monitor (9), calculates a beam radiation position (P) on a subject (25) to be irradiated with the beam, and controls radiation of the beam (2). The radiation control device (23) has a position calculating device (30), which calculates the radiation position (P), on the basis of a beam position (Pm) detected by means of the position monitor (9), information of scanning start point distances from an irradiation surface (31) of the subject (25) to beam (2) scanning start points (1x, 1y) of the scanning electromagnets (5x, 5y), and information of a position monitor distance from the irradiation surface (31) to the position monitor (9), said position monitor distance being calculated on the basis of the distance (D) thus calculated. |
