PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an influence on the scheduling on a transmission side and efficiently compress CQI information to be reported to the transmission side.

SOLUTION: A communication device includes: a reception part for receiving a signal transmitted using plural sub-carriers constituting a frequency bandwidth; and a reception quality calculation part for calculating reception quality of the received signal, with the reception quality calculation part grouping the frequency bandwidth into at least two groups so that the number of sub-carriers constituting one group is different from the number of sub-carriers constituting other groups, and calculating the reception quality for each of the groups.
