<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a base material and a protective film to be peeled off properly in a longitudinal direction of a laminate even if adhesion between the base material and the protective film varies; to prevent twitching wrinkle from occurring due to the looseness of transport tension of the base material; and to prevent the base material from being damaged by incurring heat damages. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a functional film includes: a first determination step of determining whether or not there is the protective film on the base material during the transport of the laminate before processing; a second determination step of determining whether or not there is the protective film on the base material in a period between the first determination step and a deposition processing; and a control step of controlling peel strength based on determination results obtained through the first and second determination steps, so that the protective film is peeled off the base material in a period between the first and second determination steps. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
