A wireless apparatus comprises a PLL (10) used for generating the clocks for a digital baseband unit (1-1). An output variable regulator (5) receives a VCO control voltage that controls the oscillation frequency of a VCO (6) in the PLL (10). The output variable regulator (5) then varies the output voltage in accordance with the VCO control voltage and supplies, as a power supply voltage, the varied output voltage to the power supply terminal of the high frequency circuit of an amplifier (3) or the like. Since the VCO control voltage varies with temperature variation or process variation and further the power supply voltage of the high frequency circuit is controlled on the basis of the VCO control voltage, the compensation for a performance degradation caused by the temperature variation or process variation can be achieved.
