<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric door control device which enables an object caught by doors to be pulled out with a small external force and prevents the doors from opening with an external force during the traveling of an electric train. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes a door position detecting means 6, speed detecting means 7a, 7b, a closure detecting means 5, a speed control means 2 for generating speed control thrust on door opening/closing, a door command generating means 1 for generating a regular push-back thrust for allowing the object caught by the doors to be pulled out and a speed command value, a command selecting means 3 for selecting and outputting the speed control thrust or the regular push-back thrust corresponding to a control selection command from the door command generating means 1, a door drive mechanism 4 for providing the doors with thrust corresponding to selected thrust, and a means 8 to 13, 15 to 17 for generating the push-back control thrust based on a position detection value and inputting it into the command selecting means.
