<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for disposing used consumer electronics, capable of recovering materials with higher purity by decomposing consumer electronics. <P>SOLUTION: The method for disposing used consumer electronics decomposes used consumer electronics including any of refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners and television sets and extracts reusable raw materials. The method for disposing used consumer electronics includes: a process of removing parts comprised of metals containing any of iron, copper and aluminum from the consumer electronics and placed as blocks and parts made of plastics; a process of sorting housings of the consumer electronics formed by joining portions of the metals and plastics to portions of the plastics for each of different kinds or metals with different raw materials; and a process of crushing each raw material obtained in this process and recovering the raw materials as the raw materials in sizes of predetermined values or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
