ENVELOPE DETECTOR CIRCUIT AND RECEIVER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An envelope detection circuit and a receiving device using the same are provided to improve a conversion gain by increasing the amount of an output current which is applied to a capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A current generating unit(100) generates an output current corresponding to an input signal according to an applied input signal. A current mirror unit(200) generates a radiation output current by radiating the generated output current. A voltage output unit(300) generates the output current having a waveform corresponding to an envelope of the input signal according to summed output currents of the output current and the radiation output current. A current supply unit(400) provides a constant current to the current generating unit. The current generating unit comprises a first transistor which is applied with the input signal and a second transistor which is connected to the first transistor.
