摘要 <p>A microfluidic device comprising a substrate 10 having a microfluidic channel 20, an electrically conductive feature comprising an electrically conductive layer 18 arranged on a primer layer 16 and positioned with reference to the microfluidic channel 20, wherein the primer layer 16 comprises an organic polymer selected from the group consisting of a homopolymer or copolymer including a vinyl lactam repeating unit, a cellulose ether or a polyvinyl alcohol, and a porous particulate material wherein the porous particulate material is dispersed in the organic polymer. The porous particulate material may be alumina, zeolite or silica. The device is manufactured by applying the primer layer 16 to the substrate and applying a conductive ink layer 18 over the primer layer 16 wherein the conductive ink layer 18 comprises electrically conductive particles dispersed in a humectant organic solvent. The primer layer absorbs the non-volatile components of the humectant organic solvent, in which the conductive material is dispersed , to form the conductive layer 18. The conductive layer may be used as an electrode layer.</p>
