<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic failure correspondence system for solving the problem that when any failure is generated in printing, it takes a long time to solve the failure due to the interference of a manual operation to solve the failure, and it is not possible to perform printing during that time. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic failure correspondence system is configured to, when any failure is generated in the case of executing print in a host device, collate print information when the failure is generated with a failure correspondence method database in which an already known failure correspondence method is stored, and to acquire the failure correspondence method which matches the print information. When there does not exist any failure correspondence method which matches the print information in the failure correspondence method database, a printer driver installed in the host device acquires print data converted into data which can be printed by a printer on the basis of the print data showing the print image.
