<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module including lithium ion secondary batteries, in which the batteries can be efficiently cooled without using an extra member by adding a battery cooling function to a member performing electrical joining. <P>SOLUTION: A battery module includes a lead 4 and a bus bar 3 with a projection 7 which serve as an electrical joining member, and cooling air is blown to the joining members to be used as a cooling means for batteries. Since each of the lead 4 and the bus bar 3 has a large surface area, cooling performance can be improved, so that the batteries 1 can be cooled more efficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
