PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for electrolysis, which contains organic substances effective for depositing a metal by an electrochemical reaction, can be used as an anode without oxidatively decomposing the substances, and preferentially generates electrolytic ozone, oxygen, hydrogen even in the case of using electrolyte containing halide salt or impurities.
SOLUTION: The electrode for electrolysis has a catalyst layer, which is formed on a valve metal base and contains a platinum group metal and/or its oxide. On the catalyst layer, a porous body layer, which is a continuous pore structure having a metal-organic functional group, is formed by a sol-gel method in a crosslinked structure formed by metal-oxygen bonding.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
