<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform fast data transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter 51 performs frequency conversion on a signal of a predetermined frequency band and outputs a converted signal of a higher frequency band, and a receiver 61 performs frequency conversion on the converted signal and outputs a signal of a predetermined frequency band. A plurality of transmitters 51 and a plurality of receivers 61 are formed on one semiconductor chip, and the plurality of transmitters 51 perform frequency conversion into converted signals of frequency bands different from each other, respectively. The converted signals outputted from the plurality of transmitters 51, respectively, are combined into a synthetic signal and outputted. The plurality of receivers 61 perform frequency conversion on the converted signals of the frequency bands different from each other, respectively. To each of the plurality of receivers 61, at least a converted signal of a frequency band subjected to frequency conversion performed by that receiver 61 is distributed among synthetic signals.
