摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time to be required for a shift to a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: A network communication apparatus includes: a first controller having first application means; a second controller having second application means with the same function as that of the first application means, and a communication processing part for performing communication processing via a communication network; and a common storage part to be used by the first controller and the second controller. In a first mode where the first controller is in an operation state, the first application means performs predetermined processing by using the common storage part, and the communication processing part performs communication in accordance with indication from the first application means. When the first controller is shifted from the first mode to a second mode with less power consumption compared with the first mode, the first application means stops the performance of the processing, the second application means performs processing, based on data which is stored in the common storage part and related to the first application means, and the communication processing part performs communication in accordance with the indication of the second application means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
