<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device that can reliably prevent an exhaust sensor from being damaged by condensate water without largely increasing cost by accurately estimating the amount of the condensate water accumulated in an exhaust pipeline without newly providing sensors, heating means, and so forth. <P>SOLUTION: The engine control device in which the exhaust sensor 10 having a detection element to which a heating heater 30 is attached is disposed in the exhaust pipeline 109 includes an exhaust gas temperature detection means 122 for detecting the temperature of exhaust gas, an intake air amount detection means 115 for detecting intake air amount, an intake air temperature detection means 121 for detecting intake air temperature, an condensate water amount estimating means for estimating the amount of the condensate water in the exhaust gas pipeline based on the exhaust gas temperature, intake air amount, and intake air temperature obtained when an engine is started, and a heater control means for controlling electrification to the heating heater based on the amount of the condensate water estimated by the condensate water amount estimating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
