An optical unit (101) for a wavelength-selecting switch according to the present invention comprises: an input port (110a); a dispersion section (112) that produces wavelength dispersion of input light that is input from the input port (110a); a light-collecting element (113) that collects the light dispersed by the dispersion section (112); an output port (110b); an optical path correction section that shifts the light that is dispersed by the dispersion section (112); an adjustment section (121) that changes the amount of shift produced by the optical path correction section; and a casing (118) that hermetically seals the input port (110a), dispersion section (112), light-collecting element (113), output port (110b), and optical path correction section. The casing (118) has an optically transparent section (119) in a location onto which the light that is collected by the light-collecting element (113) is directed. The adjustment section (121) is arranged outside the casing (118). The optical path correction section can be controlled from outside the casing (118) by the adjustment section (121).
