<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent antenna device and communication device that can reduce an SAR by more accurately determining approach of a human body. <P>SOLUTION: In normal communication, a communication device 10 expands a radiation band by forming two combined antennas 11 and 12 while keeping each of SPST switches 15b and 16b of each of transmission lines 15 and 16 being off. In being in contact with a human body, the communication device 10 can reduce an SAR by reducing supply power to each of the antennas 11 and 12 by turning each of the SPST switches 15b and 16b of each of the transmission lines 15 and 16 on; where radiation power is not halved because the combination of the antennas 11 and 12 is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
