<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush capable of preventing its lid from being mistakenly taken off in use. <P>SOLUTION: In a battery containing section 13, an electric toothbrush 1 includes: a battery case 131 for holding a battery 30; a case engagement part 134 fixed to the battery case 131; a cylinder-shaped battery case lid 135 to be engaged with the rear end opening of a handle 11; a grip member 136 composed of a grip part 136a rotatably attached to a flat bottom face of the battery case lid 135 which is formed perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the battery case lid engaged with the proximal end of a toothbrush body 10, and a lid hook part 136b to be caught after the case engagement part 134 and the grip part 136a are rotated only prescribed degrees with respect to each other; and an O-ring 139 which is placed around the outer surface of the battery case lid 135, and comes in contact with the inner surface of the handle 11 when the battery case lid 135 is engaged with the rear end opening of the handle 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
