<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel device which introduces liquid easily, and can prevent air bubbles from trapping in the channel at the introduction of the liquid. <P>SOLUTION: A channel device includes: a channel for flowing the liquid in a direction different from the vertical direction; a supply port opening in the vertical direction; an introduction space for introducing the liquid into the channel; and a buffer space that communicates between the channel and the introduction space and can form a gas-liquid interface with a surface tension.
