PURPOSE: A precoding information transmitting method for uplink transmission and an apparatus performing the same in a wireless communication system are provided to simplify an operation of a serving base station and a terminal and to support multiple base station uplink multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO). CONSTITUTION: A neighbor BS(base station) transmits information about PMIMin and RSSI(received signal strength indication) to a serving BS(S401). The serving BS determines PMI by using channel information between a terminal and the serving base station. The serving BS determines PCR(PMI combination ratio) using information received from a neighbor cell(S402). The serving BS transmits a PMI(precoding matrix index) to the terminal by using an A-MAP IE(advanced-MAP information element). The serving BS transmits the PMMin and the PCR through a MAC control message(S403).
