<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic multi-electrode gas shielded arc welding device that prevents the occurrence of a welding defect caused by an unstable molten pool and is suitable for automating gas shielded arc welding. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic multi-electrode gas shielded arc welding device includes: a voltage detection means 18 for detecting the voltage between an intermediate electrode 5 and a material 1 to be welded; a short-circuit determination means 19 for receiving the voltage detected by the voltage detection means 18 and determining whether a short-circuit occurred; an intermediate electrode current setting means 20 for receiving a current value signal from the outside and for, when the short-circuit determination means 19 determines that a short-circuit occurred, outputting the current value signal indicating a first current value I1 to an intermediate electrode DC power supply M as a current value setting signal and, when the short-circuit determination means 19 determines that a short-circuit did not occur, outputting the current value signal indicating a second current value I2 smaller than the first current value I1 to the intermediate electrode DC power supply M as the current value setting signal; a speed control means 32; and an electrode feeding means 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
