<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying sheet that is thin and small, is sanitary and is obtained at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Composite paper 10 is made from 10 to 70 wt.% of silica gel particles 12 in dry weight and a balance of paper fiber 11 by a papermaking technique and is formed into a sheet shape with a thickness of 0.3 mm to 4.0 mm.
