<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, an image display method, an image display program and recording medium capable of selectively displaying an image to be viewed in accordance with a similarity between the images specified by a user. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device of the present invention displays a graphic image, on a display device, configured by using configuration information about the graphic image associated with a video frame identical to a video frame received from a video frame provision device by referring to a database where the video frame to be displayed on the display screen as well as the configuration information about the graphic image are registered by being associated with each other, and subsequently updates displayed image on the display device depending on a similarity.
