PURPOSE:To prevent troubles with the compounding of low-quality residual oils in a method to supply a mixture of a low-quality residual oil and C-heavy oil to burners by using a system in which the flow rate of any one of oils and the temperature of the oil after being mixed are measured, the flow rate of the other oil is estimated from the specific heat, and the mixing ratios of both oils and/or the amounts of the oils to be supplied to burners are regulated by operating a control valve. CONSTITUTION:C-heavy oil A and a low-quality residual oil B are each sent by pumps 3 and 4 to heaters 1 and 2 where they are heated to a given temperature. The flow rate of the oil A is checked on its way by a flowmeter FI, and the temperatures of each oil measured by a thermometer TI for controlling the heaters 1 and 2. The oils are joined at the point P through regulating valves 5 and 6 and check valves 7 and 8 and uniformly mixed with each other in a mixer M. The temperature of the mixed oils is measured by a thermometer 9 and the mixed oils are burned by a burner K. The oil A is set to a specific heat C1 and a temperature T1, and the oil B is set to a specific heat C2 and a temperature T2. The temperature of the mixed oils is set to T12. If the flow rate of the oil A is V1, the flow rate V2 not known of the oil B can be obtained approximately from the relationship V2=C1V1(T12-T1)/(T12-T2). The V1/V2 ratio can be easily adjusted by operating regulating valves 5 and 6. |
