<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to feel a course of a pedometer etc. <P>SOLUTION: A walking detecting section 1070 detects walking. An ascending/descending determining section 1072 determines whether the walking detected by the walking detecting section 1070 is accompanied by a height change or not.
