PURPOSE: A sound reproducing apparatus is provided to provide an optimal acoustic environment suitable for a user by reproducing sound having desired spatial characteristics in a listening area. CONSTITUTION: A control means reproduces sound at a specific location in a listening area by receiving first and second sound source signals. The control means outputs the first and second sound source signals by controlling the size and phase of the first and the second source signals. A first speaker reproduces sound by receiving a first control sound source signal. A second speaker reproduces the sound by receiving a second control sound source signal. An input means displays a specific location in the listening area and the location of a listener. The input means is formed into a touch panel.
