PURPOSE: A fishing rod supporting device is provided to easily fix a fishing rod in order to prevent the fishing rod from being separated from the body of a user. CONSTITUTION: A fishing rod supporting device comprises a base(10), a belt support unit(20), a rotating body(30), a clamping unit(40), and a lock and release unit(50). The base is formed in the shape of a plate. On one side of the base, the rotating body is rotationally installed. The belt support unit comprises a unit body connected to one end of the base by a hinge, a belt clamping unit(22) which is rotationally installed in the unit body, and a locking/releasing unit(23) which selectively locks and releases the belt clamping unit. The clamping unit comprises a pair of tongs, and a third elastic member offering elastic force.
